Biography of Bishop Darrell E. Croft

Born in Bamberg, SC, Darrell Croft finished high school as highly sought after athlete in both football and basketball. He continued his education at Newberry College where he graduated with a B.A degree in Art, with a minor in Religion and Psychology. After turning down a lucrative contract deal with the NFL, he pursued the call on his life to be a Minister of the Gospel. , Bishop Croft completed his required studies and earned His Doctorate in Ministries from Calvary Christian College in Waldorf, Maryland. Blessed with his wife, Mary, beside him, they set out together to follow the leadership of the LORD.

Darrell and Mary are presently serving as the Presiding Bishop and First Lady of the House of Praise Beth-Judah, a full gospel, non-denominational Ministry that God called them to plant in the Columbia Metro region back in 1999. He is currently serving as the International Missions Director and one of the Regional Overseers for the ICCM. Under God's direction, Bishop Croft and the House of Praise have planted over 90 Churches, schools, clinics, and orphanages in the U.S. and around the world. The Crofts reside in Lexington, SC.
